Wadesboro Police Officer Requirements

 

•  Be a citizen of the United States

•  Be at least 21 years of age

•  Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED

•  Be of good moral character as determined by a thorough background investigation

•  NC Basic Law Enforcement Training Certified

•  Able to pass a comprehensive medical exam and credit check

•  Have undergone a psychological screening examination by a clinical psychologist or psychiatrist to determine the officer's    emotional suitability to properly fulfill the job responsibilities
